At Durrocoat we offer specialist Nylon finishes, polyester powder coating and epoxy powder coating. Our Nylon coating is a “pure” nylon product based on polyamide resin systems and Plascoat®. This is amongst the most versatile and durable product available on the market today.
Nylon provides maintenance free protection, due to its excellent resistant to chemicals, oils and solvents. It has a lifespan 6 to 7 times longer than polyester, and produces and attractive glossy finish.
In addition, Nylon has a superior resistance to damage by impact and abrasion (making it ideal for use on outdoor furniture or playground equipment). Nylon coatings are non-toxic and suitable for use on hospital grade and food manufacturing equipment.
Our coatings are applied by electrostatic spray which means that we can accommodate large and intricate work pieces, and colour changes are rapid.

Also known as ‘Thermoplastic Coating’ or ‘Warm-Touch’ nylon is one of only a few coatings commercially available to be recognised as DDA, ‘Warm-to-the-Touch’ compliant. They are extremely durable and provide a flexible surface coating that is well suited to street furniture, handrails and barriers etc.
