Established in 2010, Durrocoat’s extensive product range, fast turnaround times and large scale ovens enable us to offer a specialised coating service to a vast range of customers.
What do we do?
Based around the professional application of durable painted finishes, we at Durrocoat take in metal objects and fabrications that have been manufactured by others or metal items that require refurbishment. By way of building up various primers, coloured coatings and lacquers we offer a tough and attractive finish that will last for years.
Our Services
POWDER COATING
Producing a smooth finish in gloss or matt that will remain maintenance free for many years, powder coatings are cost effective and ideally suited to all types of general metal fabrications such as gates and railings, shop fittings, signs and fascia’s, roller shutters and so much more.
NYLON COATING
An excellent alternative to standard powder coatings, specifically designed for challenging and DDA compliant environments. Softer to the touch and very well suited to street furniture and signposts, playground equipment, public seating fames and hand or grab rails.
ANTIBACTERIAL COATINGS
Specially formulated with effective antimicrobial agents, killing most bacteria and discourages the settlement of harmful fungi and mould by up to 99.99% for the lifetime of the coating. Ideal for newly manufactured metalwork, or part of refurbishment of used equipment.
SHOT-BLASTING
In house shot blasting and chemical paint stripping complete our one stop service, keeping your extra costs and lead times to an absolute minimum.
GATES & RAILING RESTORATION
Almost always made to measure, gates and railings, balcony rails and other metal fittings are expensive to replace. In most cases the base metals are good, but the original paint that has deteriorated spoiling the look of them and the appearance of your property.
GARDEN FURNITURE
Good garden furniture is well worth restoration, it is well made and heavy in construction. Our paint removal and recoating process will bring your aged and untidy chairs and tables and benches back to a “good as new” appearance.
RADIATORS
Antique radiators shot blasted and powder coated, and new “out of the box” radiators and fittings recoated in a colour of your choice. Powder coating offers a perfect solution that is smooth to the touch and durable, and will not fade or yellow over time.

Preparation
Our first class powder coating services are backed by ‘in-house’ chemical paint removal and a full sized shot blasting room, so you won’t need that wire brush after all.
Transport
At Durrocoat there’s no need to book, customers are welcome to turn up and drop off any time during opening hours – our turnaround is usually within a week. If you struggle with transport we have regular flatbed van collections throughout the local area and scheduled weekly collection/delivery for trade customers. We also have forklift facilities for unloading heavier consignments.
Green
Powder coating provides a top quality finish to all types of metal applications and is more durable than wet painting. The products we use do not contain solvents and are therefore VOC free which is better for our environment and safer for our employees and those working on our coated products in the future. This lends a greener dimension to every project we carry out without compromising on quality.
